Raficq Abdulla (Confirmed) Partner, Shariah Solutions LLP
Raficq Abdulla is an Oxford-trained lawyer whose experience covers over 40 years first as legal counsel and company secretary in the private sector before taking up the post of University Secretary and legal adviser to Kingston University which he relinquished in 2006. He is now a Visiting Fellow of the Faculty of Business and Law at the University and a founder partner of the Sharia Finance Advisory Council. He is also a writer, public speaker, and broadcaster.
FURTHER ACHIEVEMENTS AND ACTIVITIES
He is an Associate Director of the South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust where his particular remit is governance and equality.
He is a trustee of the Poetry Society, a director of Planet Poetry, and he is a member of the Board of PEN.
In 1999, he was awarded an MBE for his interfaith work between Muslims, Jews, and Christians.
