Head of Inward Investment, Business Growth & Trade, London Development Agency
Chris joined the London Development Agency as Head of Inward Investment, Business Growth and Trade in January 2008. He was previously at Greater London Enterprise, where he managed one of the teams delivering advisory services and support to a wide range of London companies interested in developing their international business. Chris specialised in working with technology clients, particularly those in the Information and Communication Technology sector.
Prior to joining GLE Chris had a career in international business, having been board level director within a large privately owned multinational group. He established and managed business in a number of markets and developed the group’s activities with its key multinational principals. He also managed the delivery of major international procurement contracts, sourcing products from North America, Europe and Asia. The group had import, distribution and manufacturing activities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Chris was also one of the three members of a team that established a very successful FMCG import and distribution company in Eastern Europe. The business has subsequently been acquired by a major European multinational.
