Sarah Gooden (Confirmed) Partner, Trowers & Hamlins LLP
Sarah is a partner in Trowers & Hamlins banking and finance department and has been advising on Islamic finance for well over ten years. She is co-head of the firm's cross departmental Islamic finance group . She advises regularly on a variety of Islamic investments and structures . Sarah was lead adviser on the structuring and financing of a number of Shari'ah compliant leveraged funds investing in UK and European Real Estate, for clients including Gulf Finance House (Gulf Atlantic Real Estate Fund) and Kuwait Finance House (Ethmaar UK Property Fund and KFH's Swedish Post Portfolio). She has been a member of the Financial Markets Law Committee's working party on Islamic Finance. Sarah speaks regularly at conferences on topics related to Islamic finance and in 2006 acted as course adviser and wrote two modules for an Informa self-study course on Islamic finance.
