Imam Qazi (Confirmed) Head of Islamic Finance, Burges Salmon
Imam Qazi has been with Burges Salmon LLP since 1997 and is an experienced real estate lawyer acting for investment funds, landowners and funders. Since 2005 Imam has been specialising in shariah compliant real estate finance and investment and has worked with UK based Islamic banks and windows in developing innovative product and transaction documentation.Imam has delivered various training seminars for bankers and professionals on Islamic finance, particularly in relation to real estate. He is now head of the Islamic finance unit at Burges Salmon LLP and has positioned the firm to be the choice law firm for Islamic finance outside the City. Imam is a graduate of law and economics from Leicester University.
