		Back to Full Speakers Listing Thomas Meow (Confirmed) Head of Debt Capital Markets and Syndicate, CIMB Group Thomas is responsible for the business of debt securities origination and syndication of CIMB Group in South East Asia and the Middle East. Thomas has 19 years experience in the financial markets in South East Asia, with the last 10 years spent in the Sukuk and conventional bond markets in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. Under his leadership, CIMB has been on top of the Sukuk league table in Malaysia. CIMB lead arranged the first Sukuk issue by a corporate in Singapore this year. His team is also actively involved in assisting the government of Kingdom of Thailand in setting up a framework for Sukuk issuance in Thailand. Thomas is the chairman of the Debt Capital Markets Committee of the Malaysian Investment Banking Association, through which he contributes to the development of the debt capital markets and Sukuk markets.
