Anita Fung (Confirmed) Group General Manager and Head of Global Markets, Asia-Pacific, HSBC
Anita Fung is Group General Manager and Head of Global Markets, Asia-Pacific, leading a team of 1000 market professionals working in 20 countries and territories across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. She is responsible for the management of the Bank’s balance sheet, proprietary risk-taking and trading activities as well as the provision of treasury products and services to the Bank’s customers. This includes primary market fund raising activities for HSBC’s clients across a range of asset classes such as debt, equities, convertible bonds and securitisation. Ms. Fung is actively involved in the asset and liability management of the Bank as well as the strategic development of HSBC’s Global Markets business.
She is a board member of the Treasury Markets Association and the chairperson of its Market Development Committee and sits on the Finance Committee of Cathay Pacific. Anita graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a major in Finance, followed by a Master of Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University of Sydney.
